Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics & Automation, or equivalent work experience

Intermediate knowledge in robot programming (Fanuc)

Intermediate knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley)

Experience with Allen Bradley Factory Talk

1 to 3 years of experience

Good knowledge of source control software (Perforce, SVN, Git, Mercurial...) and ideally one « Build System » (TeamCity, Jenkins, …)

Good knowledge of at least one script language (PowerShell, Python, Perl …)

Knowledge of an object-oriented language would be an asset (C#, C++, Java …)

Knowledge of solutions in creating versions and integrating continuously

To have good communication and interpersonal skills

Interface and manage installation contractors during construction

Visual Basic, SQL, MS ACCESS Database programming skills a plus

3-6+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting

Design and troubleshoot both software and hardware necessary for control systems utilizing PLCs for integration of manufacturing systems.

Design, diagnose, and troubleshoot network infrastructures - Ethernet, DeviceNet, AS-i, Profibus etc.

Significant experience in the manufacturing industry with at least 10 years of experience specialized in technologies in manufacturing process automation.

Experience in manufacturing process analysis and mapping.

Open to new challenges and passion for acquiring new skills.

Experience in business and data analysis, process improvement and project management

Knowledge of data/content management (Ex: relational, metadata controls, etc.)

Project Management / Implementation of data policies
