Contract User Support Technician Jobs in Ontario

Good project management skills and ability to handle multiple complex projects, with cross functional teams and independently

Ensures Manufacturing and Packaging equipment capability and readiness to meet client requirements

Select and manage professional consultants, contractors, and suppliers

Minimum 3-5 years of Engineering experience in the manufacturing and packaging industry

Excellent knowledge of applicable legislation, Good Engineering Practices, and current GMPs

Sound analytical, problem solving and decision making skills

This is a summer contract role - end date: August 31, 2023*

Gathers supplies and equipment for patient orders in preparation for shipment/delivery and performs quality checks

Assembles, labels and provides supplies as required under specific contracts

Maintain freezer packs in sufficient quantity and quality to ensure temperature controlled shipping

Assists with inventory control, including receiving, stocking, making labels and keeping records

Participates in quality assurance activities as directed

Must have well developed knowledge and experience with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Electrical experience will be considered beneficial.

Must have 5+ years of direct hands-on experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance with automated equipment.

Experience with maintenance and repair of lift trucks would be beneficial.

Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance and provide maintenance support for the automated storage and retrieval systems.

Respond to emergency situations and support all operations of the building and automations systems.

Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on building and machinery.

Education: 1st year college in IS management or equivalent helpdesk support

Attend daily team huddles and provide input to process engineer or Manager

Draft daily shift report at level grade 10 for Manager and operations team

Experience in a client facing support role

Above average presentation and communication skills

Logging and processing support calls coming into the Hospital Parking Command Centre
