Cloud Software Architect Jobs

Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and architecting IM/IT applications within the last 15 years.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in documenting and designing architectural specifications for Cloud-hosted applications within the last 10 years.

Deploy and manage compute, storage, and other computing resources.

Designing deployment strategies for secure remote access, load balancing, private networks, and re-usable environments in the cloud.

Set up and configure virtual private clouds, virtual networks, firewalls, application gateways, load balancers, and other necessary network infrastructure.

Establish toolsets and processes to support cloud development and operations, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Experience writing documentation related to requirements, architectures, code, or tests cases

Knowledge of functional programming and experience with one of the functional languages (Erlang, Elixir, Closure, Haskell, F#, Rust, etc.)

Understanding requirements to transform existing applications, or create greenfield applications, using scalable event driven architectures with Cloud Native serverless solutions.

5+ years of experience as software engineer or software architect

2+ years experience acting as a technical lead on projects or teams

NodeJS (experience with at least one of the following: Express, Socket.IO, NestJS)

•Strong SQL skills (experience with Google Cloud BigQuery strongly preferred)

•2+ years of proven experience building production-grade systems on the cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred)

•3+ years of proven experience building pipelines and applications using Python

•Experience developing and/or deploying models in various frameworks (scikit-learn, xgboost, tensorflow, pytorch etc.)

•1+ years of proven experience with Docker and containerized applications

•Experience with Apache Airflow/Google Cloud Composer

Completes ITIL Changement Management requirements and implement updates

Expert-level skill and experience with:

Microsoft Active Directory, Identity Management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Preferred knowledge and experience with:

ITIL Processes: Configuration, Application, Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management

Maps organizational business requirements to application settings and configuration

Will administer and maintain Zabbix infrastructure, templates and configuration.

Responsible for developing and maintaining software applications in a cloud-based environment.

They design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based applications that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders.

They also collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that applications are scalable, secure, and reliable.

Hybrid (3 days on office)

Potential for hiring full time:

You will translate customer requirements and into a workable backlog of tickets for engineers

Lead requirements gathering, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions.

Coach and mentor less experienced teammates, coach and be mentored by world class engineers

5+ years of proven experience in software development, cloud systems, scalable architectures.

Experience with modern server-side scripting languages such as python, node.js, php, ruby, etc.

In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
