Data collection and entry: assist in collecting data from patients or participants, ensure data completeness, quality, and accuracy

Experience of soliciting gifts from trusts and foundation at a six and seven figure level

Experience of developing and project managing a mailing programme

Proven experience of building effective long-term relationships with trust and foundations, including transitioning trust prospects through to being committed donors

What skills will I need?

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload

Telephone study participants to confirm appointments or follow-up on study requirements

Minimum of one year experience in providing administrative support, preferably in a research environment

Prior experience in participant recruitment is an asset

Strong computer skills, particularly database, spreadsheet and word processing

Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills are necessary

Excellent organizational & time management skills

Demonstrated knowledge & understanding of Good Clinical Practice guidelines (GCP).

Prior work experience in a health care environment preferred

Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills required

Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

Strong proficiency in MS Windows based applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint); experience with Sharepoint an asset

Provides in-service education as required.

Participates in Respiratory Therapy student education and various in-services for staff and the community as required.

Maintains documentation by ensuring reports, records and workload statistics are complete and accurate according to established departmental standards.

Participates in the interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care goals, therapeutic/diagnostic strategies and program related issues.

Participates in meetings and departmental committees and contributes to problem identification and resolution.

Performs other related duties as required.

Under supervision, run experiments, assays, and record results

Read and follow experimental protocols (May include animal handling, tissue culture, etc.)

Compile and communicate results to supervisor

Follow University safety protocols (may include use of combustibles, radioactivity, toxic material, and/or carcinogenics)

Perform calculations involving molarity, % solutions, and serial dilutions

Prepare and operate equipment in experimental procedures
