The position is for the Montreal area

You need to have your Class 1 FM licence

Minimum two (2) years experience

Good knowledge of roads in the state of Maine and the Maritime Provinces.

Tarp the load, if necessary;

Have a minimum of 2 years’ truck driving experience;

Very strong knowledge of Transportation functions;

Geographically knowledgeable (Ontario & Quebec & Maritimes); an asset

Excellent communication skills and computer literacy

Self-motivated with good people skills

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a truck driver.

Experience in drayage, dry van, and flatbed operations.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to perform regular inspections and maintenance on the equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work with and monitor reefer equipment requirements

Provide efficient, reliable, professional service to customers

Process daily pickup and delivery records

Pre-trip inspections of all units

Moving trailers safely and efficiently from dock to yard – yard to dock as yard shunt when needed

Perform drop trailer customer deliveries
