Midland Transport is currently seeking a Yard Shunt Driver based in Moncton, NB .
The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic and great and positive attitude with a commitment to provide a Superior Quality service.
Shift: Monday to Thursday each week from 21 :00-08:00 - (with some P&D work as needed)

• Process daily pickup and delivery records
• Moving trailers safely and efficiently from dock to yard – yard to dock as yard shunt when needed
• Provide efficient, reliable, professional service to customers
• Work with and monitor reefer equipment requirements
• Pre-trip inspections of all units
• Perform drop trailer customer deliveries
• Maintain company equipment standards
• Scheduled activity based on daily shipment volumes and customer demand

What We Offer:

• $200 Safety bonus paid quarterly (no preventable accident).
• Uniform Allowance is $350 per unit, per year.
• Benefits start the 1st day of the following month of the hiring date: 3 Weeks vacation, Blue Cross Medical, Dental and drug, Life Insurance, Travel Insurance, Disability Insurance, RRSP match 5%, and many discounts with different businesses.
• $23.91 per hour.
