Operate and maintain the Boiler and Refined Oil processes;

Operate and maintain the waste water treatment and other plant waste treatment operations;

Clean and lubricate generators, turbines, pumps, compressors and perform other routine maintenance work using lubricants and hand tools, electrical and precision;

4th Class Power Engineering Certificate

Knowledgeable in energy management systems, techniques, and operations

Ensuring management team is informed of current building operations by compiling and submitting monthly reports

Assist with budget preparations, including vendor proposals, analysis of expenses and compilation of materials for management

Basic computer skills in Outlook, Excel & Word, and knowledge of CMMS software

Experience in operation, maintenance and basic repair of HVAC, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, water systems, etc.

Strong communication skills (both oral and written); organization skills, technical proficiency; problem solving and decision-making skills; and interpersonal skills

·Experience with process safety and very familiar with ABSA requirements

·Experience in a sour gas processing facility required.

·Current certification in H2S alive, First Aid, WHIMIS, TDG.

·Participation in the Hanlan Robb budgeting cycle including production, operating costs, and capital projects.

Demonstrated engineering design and management experience.

Develop schedules, work assignments, and staffing requirements to ensure successful project completion.

Minimum 4+ years’ experience performing mechanical design in the any one of the oil and gas, power or industrial industries.

Experience in construction support, facilities commissions and startup and previous experience directing junior engineers is desirable.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred experience utilizing AFT Fathom or AFT Arrow hydraulic simulation software (or equivalent).
