Skill sets and qualifications for Project Manager:

Experience driving transformational changes in healthcare environments working closely with physicians, nurses, clerks, ancillary department staff, and other key partners.

Familiar with change management/incident management processes.

Building on previous experience implementing large scale RadNet projects with CPOE

Experience implementing Healthcare clinical upgrades with EHRs and CPOE rollout in large & fast paced settings.

Experience translating future state workflows to Cerner system designs.

3-5 years of build experience in Cerner PathNet Laboratory Workflows

Strong knowledge of reporting within hospital environments

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

Strong understanding of Canadian healthcare systems

Lab background is beneficial to understand what they're building out

Understanding the intersect between laboratory workload and financial reporting

Gathering build data and workflow requirements for clinic-specific Cerner Scheduling build

Cerner Millennium implementation experience in Scheduling systems an asset.

Cerner Application Analyst Mandatory Skills

Design of clinic build and creation of Data Collection Workbooks (DCW’s). Update and maintain clinic-specific DCWs.

Build using Cerner Millenium Sch Tools

Sustainment as each site goes live

Assisting Clinic readiness groups in identifying areas where change management is necessary

Canadian Healthcare experience / knowledge

The Cerner application/configuration analyst analyzes and documents gaps between business requirements and relevant Cerner Module (software) features and functions.

Development of learning materials (including bootcamp workbooks, self directed online learning workbooks, quick reference guides, skill sharpeners, clinic specific materials, etc.)

Leading/facilitating learning/adoption activities (including bootcamp, skill sharpeners, clinic readiness meetings, clinic workshops, workflow reviews, etc)

Assisting/Supporting Peer Mentors in development of clinic specific materials, delivery of workflow reviews, skill sharpeners, etc where needed

Skill Sets and Qualifications for Domain Upgrade:

The successful contractor's responsibilities will include the following:

Canadian Healthcare experience / knowledge is preferred

Experience implementing Cerner Millennium in a complex acute environment is preferred

Experience troubleshooting issues in Cerner, including a high level understanding of the Oracle Cerner data model and architecture

Experience in workflow analysis and future state design; previous project life cycle experience preferred

Experience in building Cerner based Single Phase PowerPlans, Multiphase Power Plans, Minisets, and Quick Orders, Medication Order Build is required.

Experience using Cerner DCP Tools (PowerPlan Tool, Order Folder Maintenance Tool)

Lead in the areas of requirements documentation, workflow analysis, system design, testing, and implementation for healthcare clients.

Experience with a large scale, cross-site and cross-care Cerner HIM / Health Information enterprise design and implementation

Data Quality: Optimizing remediation workflows for client identity documentation, orders, clinical documentation and mass electronic chart remediation.

3-5 years of experience in Change Management.

Provide strategic implementation planning and change management support, including application testing.

Engage stakeholders and identify and document business, clinical, and end-user requirements.

3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis.

3-5 years of experience in Cerner Implementations.

3-5 years of experience in clinical client-facing roles.

Some change management experience is nice to have

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare and technical experience required

3+ years of hands-on practical build and implementation experience within at least one of Cerner’s clinical solutions

Experience with domain validation, package testing, application break/fix resolution, and the design/build/testing system of changes

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Applying technical expertise to client system’s builds in order to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems

Mentoring client project teams as necessary in project and system build strategy
