Salary Will Be Commensurate With Qualifications And Experience

Experience designing, assembling, and testing electrochemical devices;

Experience with various materials characterization techniques, such as SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, Raman, NMR etc.

Identifying potential new research directions;

Collaborating with other group members (students, postdocs, staff, research associates, etc) and possibly external partners;

Contributing to maintaining lab equipment and related SOPs;

Experience with either Management Consulting or ‘Big 4’ Transaction Services would be beneficial

Takes ownership for project success: delivery of target quality, cost management and customer satisfaction

Uses technical and economic developments to grow services; actively manages and shares this knowledge

Experience with economic modeling and finance

Overall Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

Comfortable multitasking and managing multiple responsibilities; and

Experience handling carbon data and knowledge of carbon standards (e.g., GHG Protocol)

Excellent numerical skills with proven experience handling large data sets

Responsible for linking energy consumption records with Drax Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting requirements, including Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions

Minimum 2 years full time work experience in a related domain

Knowledge of corporate emission reporting standards (e.g., GHG protocol) and voluntary carbon market standards

At least 4 years experience working in the fields of carbon accounting and carbon strategy

Extensive experience applying your knowledge and expertise in a variety of sectors, including the Oil & Gas and Chemical sector

Building capacity within the member firms through training and knowledge sharing

Ensuring teams are up to date on developments on frameworks and requirements

Communicating effectively with executive partners to engender support and excitement for the benefits of KDN ESG Assurance while addressing potential roadblocks

Experience of assurance/audit work and the ability to apply this expertise from this perspective

Experience working with offshore teams and/or collaborating on special initiatives

·Experience working with Indigenous knowledge and scientific research methodologies.

·Experience conducting fieldwork, preferably in remote locations.

·Experience coordinating research projects that support conservation or land stewardship activities, preferably with Indigenous communities or organizations.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·Knowledge of the Mushkegowuk Council and its unique cultural, environmental, and political context is an asset.

CARBON & BIODIVERSITY RESEARCH COORDINATOR

Strong project management skills, as well as a systems and work process orientation;

Proven track record of leading teams delivering improvement implementations and stakeholder/change management;

Experience with root cause analysis, best practices, and continuous improvement;

Extensive experience reading and applying GHG regulations to process industries;

Phenomenal interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust and build relationships;

Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present, influence and collaborate at all levels;

Observe American market regarding actual developments/trends in e.g. regional data needs and communicate regularly to product manager and product owner

A few years of experience in LCA and ideally in the use of LCA FE software.

Metals, chemistry or energy sectors knowledge

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English

Knowledge and passion for sustainability, life cycle thinking, product sustainability, and/or climate change

Develop into a life cycle expert and a power user of LCA FE and MLC databases (formerly GaBi databases) solutions.

At least 5 years of experience

You should be an expert in carbon fiber manufacturing methods in the bicycle industry.

Familiar with engineering software such as Alias, Inventor and/or Solidworks

Required Education, Experience and Certification:

Preferred Education, Qualifications & Experience:

Prepare written project documents for verifiers, management, and stakeholders

Experience using remote sensing tools in agronomic decision-making

Liaise with clients and third-parties to manage the collection and quality control of soil samples and other relevant GHG data

A familiarity with carbon offset project protocols and experience managing the offset project development process

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop and manage Equinix’s positions on carbon accounting and green finance frameworks

Manages global greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and execution of carbon accounting in alignment with industry best practices and Equinix climate commitments

5+ years of experience in sustainability

2+ years of experience with GHG accounting

As of Quarter 4 2022

Engage with environmental sustainability leads to quantify carbon reduction initiatives, develop internal carbon reduction targets, and measure performance against these goals

Successful work experience related to carbon certification and voluntary carbon markets (VCS or Gold standard) is seen as a strong asset.

You have demonstrated excellent organizational skills and possess knowledge about the NBS and carbon sector;

Softskills: Please note softskills are pretty important to us; specific trainings/workshops on carbon topics will gladly be provided if need be.
