3+ years' experience in a Business Intelligence development role

2+ years' experience in a team leadership role

2+ years' experience with Power BI

Demonstrated experience using creative techniques in data visualization and storytelling

Hands-on design and development experience using SQL, SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, and ETL

You have post-secondary education in Business Administration, Statistics or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

You have experience with data/information/knowledge, business intelligence systems/approaches, data warehousing including reporting tools.

Review requests, collaborate with business users and vendors to elicit, standardize, define, and document requirements.

You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a financial institution.

You have experience with data engineering and experience scripting T-SQL in an MSSQL environment.

At your core, you are analytical, detail oriented and technically astute.

Utilize IronPython to manage customized modules in the accounting system.

Possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Prior experience with Aderant Expert is a significant advantage.

Financial Systems/Business intelligence Analyst - Mandatory Skills

Create and modify reports using SSRS and PowerBI, while providing support for existing reports.

Gather business requirements and manage project tasks and timelines

Familiarity and experience with SQL (Oracle) is required; R/Python knowledge is an asset.

Perform ad-hoc analysis in response to specific business questions or requirements.

Knowledge of Agile methodology is an asset.

Engage with stakeholders to discover, analyze, and evaluate business intelligence needs to design appropriate solutions
