A minimum of 5 years, Building Maintenance experience with increasing responsibility in a Medium to Large facilities preferred

Related experience in building maintenance and facility operations

Proven leadership skills with the innate ability to take initiative

Knowledge of building codes and building material

Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows)

Provide accurate information to Management and Contractors when reporting on problems.

Computer literacy: able to use Maintenance Management programs and email.

3+ years of related experience as a tradesperson.

Appliances: Refrigerators, stoves, ovens, vacuums, buffers, etc.

Plumbing components: Toilets, bathtubs, sinks, valves, shut offs, pipes, pumps, etc.

Carpentry: Doors, countertops, cupboards, closets, windows, walls, flooring, etc.

Records resolution data within service maintenance management database. Ensures work completed meets quality, contract response and all other requirements

Complies with all internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental, health and safety, fire protection

Up to 2 years of facility operations and maintenance work experience

Effective communication skills for the purpose of data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification

Must meet enhanced security clearance requirements

Performs work in accordance to established processes and practices

2-5 years of related experience in a commercial real estate environment

5th class Power Engineering Certification

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to multi-task and be responsive to time critical tasks

Flexible in working hours and able to respond to emergencies after hours
