Certified Engineering Technologist, Facility Management Certification and/or CMRP designation is a plus

Asset Management (ISO55001) and cGMP/GLP knowledge (ISO13485) & Quality Management (ISO9001) an asset

Technical Knowledge (equipment performance & maintenance requirements) and Reliability & Work Control Knowledge (Planning/Scheduling & Reliability Principles)

Collaborate with user groups and Quality Control/Assurance teams to ensure facility programs are aligned with STEMCELL’s standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Bachelor's degree or Technologist Diploma

Minimum of 2-5 years of related experience in a commercial real estate environment.

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Successful completion of the Building Environment Systems Operator Class 1& 2

Ability to multi-task and be responsive to time critical tasks.

Flexible in working hours and able to respond to emergencies after hours.

You are comfortable working with technology and look for innovative ways to improve process.

BES I or II Certificate; or 4th class Operating Engineer; or provincial trades certification of qualification and/or relevant working experience

Completes preventative/demand maintenance tasks and input histories into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as needed

Proven ability to effectively interact with clients, tenants, management and staff;

Previous experience in facilities maintenance and operations;

Demonstrated capabilities re: accountability, judgement, decision-making, problem solving, etc.;

Service management certifications such as ITIL, AGILE, ISM, COBIT, MOF

Experience with OpenSource software and/or Service Management Tools and Applications (Satellite, Puppet, Zabbix, JIRA)

Manage and administer all IT Operations ticket queues (incidents & requests)

Manage and write Powershell scripts to assist in the automation of day-to-day tasks

1 - 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator within an IT Operations environment

Experience running and supporting a global 24x7 internet based service or product

Provide accurate information to Management and Contractors when reporting on problems.

Computer literacy: able to use Maintenance Management programs and email.

3+ years of related experience as a tradesperson.

Appliances: Refrigerators, stoves, ovens, vacuums, buffers, etc.

Plumbing components: Toilets, bathtubs, sinks, valves, shut offs, pipes, pumps, etc.

Carpentry: Doors, countertops, cupboards, closets, windows, walls, flooring, etc.
