5+ years’ experience with start-up and commissioning of building automation systems (BAS)

Experience with network troubleshooting tools (BACnet Discovery Tool, Wireshark, and/or Visual BACnet) is preferred

Network start-up and commissioning, hardware validation and commissioning, software validation and commissioning, system commissioning and project closeout.

Troubleshoot & commission newly installed Building Automation Systems

3 - 5 years of operational experience in Project Management and/or Project Development are essential

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation highly preferred but not mandatory; or working toward

Proficiency with Microsoft Project or alternate Project Management Software

Deliver project revenue forecasting and reporting results to Branch Operations Manager.

Manage revenue and gross margin to achieve monthly and annual business plans.

3+ years’ experience in Building Automation (BAU) and Building Automation Systems (BAS) technology in construction industry

Responsible for communicating time estimates, resource requirements, and progress on design tasks to Design Manager and to the Program Manager

Review electrical requirements with respect to input and output devises with electrical designers.

Communicate requested design changes to GAA team or respective manager.

5+ years’ experience in special purpose equipment and/or automation design

Experience with robotic cells and assembly systems an asset

Working knowledge of common machine shop techniques an asset.

Plan, develop, implement, mentor and lead appropriate field team members in support of the BAS Manager.

Contribute to the interviewing/hiring of experienced individuals, as well as appropriate training and development.

Provide commissioning verification checklists to the appropriate Project Manager throughout the commissioning process.

Minimum of 7+ years related experience.

Knowledge of system architecture, gateways, devices and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration

Must possess strong circuitry analysis skills and be comfortable working with voltages up to 120V minimum.

Lifting requirements – maximum 50 lbs.

Working with and developing Warehouse Management systems using C++ programming

Contributing to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback

Minimum FIVE (5) years’ experience

Experience with software programming (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C, HTML), serialized data (e.g., JSON, XML)

Experience in systems design and architecting complex systems interactions, including data flows, common interfaces, and APIs

Experience building platforms or pipelines to aggregate data from multiple sources

Knowledge of ICT/Cybersecurity fundamentals, Intermediate to Advanced computer skills

Post secondary education in a technical area of HVAC systems, security and building automation.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC systems, BAS, Building security systems and automation.

Must be eligible to obtain Top Secret security clearance to meet customer requirements.

Strong understanding of OT, Enterprise Applications and Connected Services, DVM, Energy Manager, Forge, OBS, Pulse, Vector etc.)

Fundamental knowledge of 3rdparty IoT technologies and software applications

Knowledge and experience with Open Communication protocols like BACNET, Modbus, etc.

Pursue ongoing learning in order to keep up with changes in the industry, new products and technologies, and new customer requirements

A professional certification, college diploma, or university degree in a related field

Knowledge of: electrical control systems instrumentation, industrial electronics, programming, and information technology

2+ years of experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS)

5-7 years of relevant experience in the Canadian Architectural Industry.

Proficient in Revit, with advanced skills.

In-depth knowledge of the BC Building Code Part 3 and ASHRAE 90.1, with understanding of NECB being advantageous.

Experience in project management in a technical field;

Ensure that projects are completed according to contractual requirements;

Read and analyze contracts, bids, plans and specifications, along with all other documents involved to establish the project’s scope and requirements;

Interact with managers from various departments, along with engineers, customers and subcontractors;

Manage project-related costs based on the established objectives;

Document and complete reports intended for internal managers (project status, financial status, etc.).
