Excellent time management and multitasking skills are required; Ability to identify critical paths and execute (these may change weekly);

Manage and lead piloting and roadmap build for scale of material handling systems that enable capacity and productivity improvements.

Education – Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline; Master's degree preferred

Strong AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint experience;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Generate daily sort performance report.

Diploma or certificate in applicable technical specialty - Required

Working toward or obtained Bachelor’s degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, in an automated manufacturing environment.

Skills to manage internal and external teams.

Capture internal requirements and establish the associated specification documents.

Experience managing automation projects for packaging, assembly or other relevant experience.

Rigor and strong organizational skills.

Skilled communicator, with strong teamwork values.

Communicate effectively with management, fellow staff, and customers the status of current projects, project concerns, and possible solutions.

Work with customer requirements to ensure we have appropriate storage capacity and redundancy, clearly communicate as designed/built system capabilities and limitations.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Specialized Experience (Technologist)

Minimum 3+ Years’ Experience within the Industrial Automation Industry

Ability to manage tasks and use technology, resources, and time efficiently.

Experience in the process of electrical design is a plus.

Presenting solutions and costing to senior management to for approvals

Analyzing and understanding customer’s technical requirements

Managing a proposal development team including ATS subject matter experts

Developing concepts for custom automation solutions

Understanding, defining, and managing technical risk

Sourcing and managing “best-in-class” third party suppliers through the proposal phase

Proven project management skills to ensure improvement initiatives are planned and executed according to established time, budget and other resource constraints.

Knowledge of effective change management strategies and proven success as a change agent.

Expert knowledge and/or advanced certification in process/quality improvement methods and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Experience accessing, synthesizing and leveraging the most current knowledge (research literature, publications) to inform evidence-based decisions and support change and improvement.

Experience with (re)designing and optimizing processes, resource utilization, work flow, and patient /customer experience.

Proven skills in statistics and experimental design and a commitment to learning.
