University degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent diploma (member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).

Leverage your CAD (SolidWorks or similar) experience and understanding of machine tolerances to ensure successful processes.

A minimum of 10+ years of Automation Engineering experience.

Experience with compression molding and related processes and Lean production principles is a plus.

Analyze layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and work force to maximize efficiency.

Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades.

Provide training and guidance to all employee levels in the operation and maintenance of new equipment.

1-2 years of experience in the field of industrial automation.

Communication skills, bilingualism is an asset.

Have appropriate experience in the design of electrical diagrams and circuits in the industrial field.

Knowledge of AutoCad Electrical (asset).

Have experience in programming automatons.

Search for various robotization or automation options within ABB, as well as externally.

Analyze and solve technical problems related to technologies or specific customer requirements.

Minimum 10 years of experience in automation

Experience in Pulp and Paper industry (Batch Digesters, QCS and other advance applications).

Experience in process automation using DCS and PLC

Interpersonal skills and working with customers.

Be autonomous, ability to work in a hybrid work environment, as well as with colleagues locating in remote offices.

ø Knowledge of Batch programming is a positive, but not required.

ø Previous experience working on full project lifecycles.

Experience with Project Management or scheduling tools (PMP preferred)

Minimum 5+ years experience managing projects, with preference given to hardware, industrial equipment, or construction project experience

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal

Manage project changes (internal/external change requests)
