· 4 years' Procurement experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering Environment

Experience with SAP Ariba or other procurement solution; knowledge of SAP is an asset

Review quarterly Ariba improvements and implement functionality that improves the user experience.

Monitor technical issues, manage priority status, and actively work to resolve them.

Manage “Train the trainer” program coordinate through change agents.

Develop and generate security, other system compliance reports for analyses based on business risk assessment requirements.

Manages business requirements for Order Management

1-3 years of relevant experience in procurement management, supply chain management, category management or consulting

Experience in commodity or supply chain management, and contract management

Will provide management updates on supplier performance and team productivity

Develops a vendor management strategy to “right size” the supply strategy for the region

Contributes for spend category management strategies and action plans

Implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes, including governance, performance management, and development.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management is required.

Offer category expertise to the business and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful strategy execution.

Partner with Category Managers to gather and maintain competitive market data for benchmarking and analysis.

Communicate market trends, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and develop solutions for project vulnerabilities.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly valued.

·Comfortable in the MS Office suite and willing to develop this skill

·Highly organized with strong oral communication skills and attention to detail

·Manage relationships with 200+ vendors

5 years’ demonstrated experience developing functional specifications with a purchasing department.

5 years’ demonstrated experience with posting public bidding opportunities.

Demonstrated experience navigating the Ariba technology systems in public sector environment

3 years’ demonstrated experience balancing multiple projects at the same time

• Demonstrated project management skills.

• Knowledge in the Clinical Development and/or Clinical Technologies area (e.g. Clinical Research Organizations, Imaging.)

• Proven capability in negotiating project budgets and contracts

• Business level fluency in English.

Responsible for ordering materials regularly as per the MRP, and responsible for releasing firm purchase orders as per MRP requirements.

Align Taro Packaging and Raw /API   Material requirements with Supplier’s specifications. 

University degree in business or related or equivalent work experience.

3 to 5 years’ experience in Purchasing in Materials control in a pharmaceutical industry.

· Experience with contract management systems and Oracle is a plus.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

· Ensure proper documentation for vendor management in accordance with SOX and other control frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the technology/computer industry, preferably cybersecurity.

• Prepare RFPs selection methodologies, evaluation plans, evaluation criteria mandatory, evaluation schedules, and final award recommendations.

• Review vendor proposals for quality accuracy and adherence to required standards.

• Creation of supporting project documentation as per the guidelines of the Government of Alberta procurement policy.

• Assist in planning and scheduling bidders conferences and vendor presentations including agenda development for those activities.

Additional procurement related responsibilities as required by the Project Delivery Manager.

Refine identified business and technical requirements.

Plan and coordinate procurement activities including financial estimate, business technical requirements and contracting options.

Support development of a strategy for procurement preparation based upon project goals and criteria.

Identify any subprojects where separate RFPs may be required to acquire specific vendor services.

Assist the Department in providing RFP interpretations to vendors by developing written responses to questions.

Acts as the first escalation point if internal customers experience problems with any Supply Chain processes/systems.
