Associate Lab Manager Jobs

Manage and optimize the ordering process for supplies, equipment, and materials required for the company's operations;

At least BSc or equivalent accreditation in Molecular Biology or related field

Masters or PhD would be a plus

Design and order DNA constructs;

Prepare reports based on the experimental data and communicate them with our clients;

Conduct labeling, packaging and ordering as required by the company;

Quality Management of materials testing laboratory, including preparation for CCIL audits and certifications and routine calibrations and equipment maintenance.

Ability to act as a Local Radiation Safety Officer and manage CCIL Certification audits.

Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities

Working with a team of highly skilled engineers, technicians, surveyors and drafters to provide excellent client service

Experience performing field reviews of civil construction projects would be an asset

Ability to work long hours during peak season to fulfil project requirements

Participate in weekly coaching sessions with management and follow recommended course of action to further develop skills.

Complete all assigned tasked delegated by management.

Experience in either retail or hospitality industry where you have a working knowledge of managing cash, POS and inventory systems.

Responsible for achieving all key business objectives including sales, customer experience and operational targets.

Support any additional customer service offerings as needed.

Sales and merchandising experience is considered an asset.

You have experience working with research teams and understand their unique roles and responsibilities.

Your clients trust you and rely on your knowledge, skills and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives

You have experience leading laboratory building projects including renovations and fit-outs from concept to completion.

You have experience implementing and are familiar with the Canadian Biosafety Standard.

You have experience delivering multiple projects in parallel with the support from team members

The ability to manage projects and stakeholders while spaces are occupied, being mindful of the impact of disruptions on tenants

Maintain an understanding of competitive offerings and the market to recommend revision of program offerings and launch of new ones;

President, Western Canada and Asia Pacific, LCI Education ;

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing , Sales or Business supplemented by relevant and meaningful work experience in a related field;

Previous experience working in a growth orientated sales environment with a demonstrated record of achievement. (minimum 5 years);

Experience working with recruitment agents (an asset) ;

Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to manage by influence ;

Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills is an asset

Recommend process improvements, coordinate lab moves, renovations, and/or expansions, and support Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives

Experience with laboratory safety training and first aid certification is highly desirable, as is familiarity with CapEx principles

Bachelor’s degree with 3-6 years relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 1-4 years relevant experience in the life sciences field required

General knowledge of lab techniques such as cell culture, flow cytometry, microscopy, animal handling, and/or general molecular biology needed

Ability to work autonomously and function in a team-oriented, collaborative environment necessary
