7 years + of R&D/Product Development experience in a food production facility

Manage the product validation, registration and launch programs for Wheat, Barley and Canola

Develop, manage and monitor budgets, resourcing plans and projects

Define and manage work programs of contractors and consultants required for product programs

Degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Microbiology, or Soil Science, or M.S. degree with 5-10 years of industry experience

Strong people, organization, and communication skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Proven experience bringing products to market via regulatory pathways

A Registered Professional Planner designation or an educational background in Business or Project Management. Foundational knowledge is always helpful!

Marketing & Product Development Manager

Create, implement, monitor and manage the overall marketing plan, budget and programs for White Point.

·Manage, monitor and respond to Trip Advisor, Google Reviews, etc.

·Manage relationships with advertising/communication/media agencies & freelancers to execute strategies and plans on time and on budget.

Develop integrated multi-functional implementation strategies and plans for approved product modification, product development, customer experience improvement and project management.

Experience working with AGILE delivery, Service design, journey mapping, developing products with customers in mind, project management experience.

The Assistant Product Manager will have the following responsibilities:

The Assistant Product Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:

You have a post-secondary education in apparel or textile design, technology, merchandising, or the equivalent experience

Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:

8+ years minimum industry experience (preferably within the Product Development, Product Management or Sourcing departments)

Strong interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and internal and external relationship management

Lead, train, mentor, and coach the team to elevate business and soft skill set within team

Resource and allocate seasonal style capacity efficiently across various product classifications and team capabilities

Manage seasonal product development to ensure cost parameters, quality, and design intention are achieved

Maintain a knowledgeable overview of all product categories with the ability to proxy and aid in strategic decision making

Collaborate with Account Management on prioritizing client requests

In-depth understanding of Manulife’s product offering

Highly collaborative approach, working closely with Account Managers and other internal stakeholders

Meet on a regular basis with Account Managers 1x1 to stay on top of new product or modified product requests
