Assistant Manager Bakery Clerk Jobs

Computer skills: ability to enter data accurately, send email, working knowledge of Office 365 

High Volume Production: experience in high-volume baking, catering, and pastry production/finishing including oversight of quality and safety

Team Leadership: team lead or supervisory experience in a food service environment, including staff direction, coaching, and training 

Purchasing: experience ordering perishable product in a food service environment

Customer Service: experience providing prompt and respectful internal and external customer service 

Multi-tasking: ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in order to complete daily tasks effectively and efficiently

You have knowledge of financial management skills, including cash management and banking

Manage and work as part of a small team, providing an exception product and customer experience

Manage team development through training, coaching, and reviewing the teams performance

You demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills in building camaraderie amongst the team

You are experienced in computer task including email, word, excel, and data analysis

Have some previous bakery/baking experience (3-5 years of experience)

No gluten-free experience needed, the candidate will be trained onsite.

Growing Gluten-free Baked Goods Production facility looking for experienced Baker.

Prepare dry mixes, mixing dough, proofing & baking

Help in production scheduling and product ordering

Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.

Managing customer complaints and relaying them to the manager.

Previous experience in serving customers in a bakery environment preferred.

Ability to manage ingredient inventories and to track expiry dates.

Knowledge of food and health industry regulations.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Manage direct reports including: selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, succession planning and compensation

Full knowledge of department operations and skills

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Full knowledge of total store operations and skills

Communicate operational requirements/changes to department employees

Manage store operations as required

Create a shopping experience that engages customers in a way that enhances loyalty, sales, and profit
