Minimum of one year direct assist teaching experience, strong communication and organizational skills

Effectively provide quality customer service and act as a knowledgeable resource to participants, parents, volunteers and co-workers.

Prepare skills and drills for belt levels assigned and assist with conducting grading’s and tournaments

Candidate will have the ability to perform and teach to different levels of participants and demonstrate strong leadership and organizations skills.

HIGH FIVE ® Principles of Healthy Child Development certification.

Black belt in Karate or Tae Kwon Do

Identifies and resolves safety and risk management issues related to Arts & Health

Knowledge of provincial and national legal standards and requirements in arts (eg copyright, CARFAC standard fees)

Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

University graduation in Fine Arts, or a related discipline and some related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Good digital camera and social media skills preferred

Experience in assessing training needs/requirements.

Prior aviation experience with a working knowledge of CARs is an asset.

Ensure accurate training records, including applicable licenses and certifications, are stored within a centralized LMS and distribute reports as required.

Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent years of experience in Aerospace Training

10+ years of working experience in a technical / leadership role within the aviation industry.

Prior curriculum/training program development and delivery experience in an industrial setting

Certification through the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) is an asset

Experience supervising staff in all areas of human resource management and providing direction to a team;

Significant experience as a lead in project management;

Post-secondary education in humanities, fine arts, arts administration, business or public administration;

Significant experience overseeing budgets and administering funds, including assessment of financial reporting;

Significant work experience in the Yukon arts and/or cultural sector, as an artist or in a leadership position;

Experience working with Yukon First Nations artists or organizations would be an asset;

Familiarity with learning management systems, including Moodle, and experience building course content within these platforms.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.

Experience developing course content, materials, and assessments for online or in-person learning environments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Passion for education and commitment to student success.

A post-secondary degree in fine art or education
