Overview:
Adult Support Workers provide assistance to adults with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. They help with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and eating, as well as providing emotional support. They may also provide transportation and accompany clients to medical appointments.How To Become an Adult Support Worker:
To become an Adult Support Worker, you will need to complete a high school diploma or equivalent. You may also need to complete a post-secondary program in a related field, such as social work or health care.
