Hr Adminrative Assistant Jobs in Nova Scotia

Graduate of post-secondary degree and/or Certificate Program in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.

Minimum one–two years of associated human resources knowledge and experience required.

Working knowledge of collective agreements, employment guides, visa requirements, and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPOP).

Minimum of one year experience in a complex multi-union environment; unionized healthcare sector experience preferred.

Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent organizational & time management skills.

Expert Excel skills to meet reporting requirements.

Strong verbal & written communication skills.

Ability to follow complex oral & written directions and excellent problem-solving skills.

12-month contract with strong potential for permanent employment.

Full-time (37.50 hours per week).
