Finance Clerk - Accounts Payable

Manage invoices and payments for assigned vendors.

Work with other team members to coordinate responsibilities, and prioritize tasks, ensuring all-important deadlines are met.

Coordinating full cycle accounts payable responsibilities such as processing invoices, maintaining corporate card program management and completing monthly financial reports

Experience in basic accounts payable and data processing skills including handling petty cash, credit cards and expenses

Liaising with Financial Controller regarding weekly cash flow requirements

Providing support to finance team wherever necessary and other assistance with P&Ls as required

Minimum 2 years’ accounts payable work experience or combination of accounts payable and office administration experience

Knowledge of Sage or other accounting software

Must have 4 + years of private equity or asset management experience

Record journal entries for management fees and accruals

Experience: Prior experience with accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar role is preferred

Knowledge: Familiarity with basic accounting principles, accounts payable processes, and financial systems

Attention to detail: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry, invoice processing, and payment calculations

Analytical skills: Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and perform basic financial analysis
