Accountant Manager Jobs

2-3 years of supervisory experience

Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience

Previous experience in manufacturing industry can be an asset

Leading a team of accounting professionals

Prepare full set of accounts and chart of accounts

GST/HST, Payroll and T4 processing

Above average organizational and time management skills

Post-secondary education in business or accounting at the college or university level

5+ years' experience in a full cycle accounting role

Previous experience in project focused, home construction environments is ideal

Independent worker with strong multi-tasking abilities

Preparing financial statements and the management discussion and analysis for quarterly and year end filings for various clients;

After the base experience requirements are met, we hire first and foremost, strong analytical and problem solvers.

Assist with continuous disclosure requirements; Common complex accounting issues include accounting for acquisitions, stock based compensation, translations and consolidations

Significant public company audit and/or financial reporting experience - ideally with small to mid-sized product based companies

Completing consolidation and translation files;

Assisting clients with financial analysis, preparing financial analysis of various balance sheet and income statement accounts;

Experience in project accounting and financial management required

Experience working on residential property development is a must-have

Accountant/Office Manager. The ideal candidate will be personable, a good communicator with meticulous attention to detail.

Knowledge of Construction Industry would be an asset.

Advanced knowledge of Sage accounting software.

Experience with preparing and filing Governments including, but not limited to WCB GST, PST Source deductions

Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
