•Related experience in non-profit volunteer management or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Web Developer (WordPress Specialist) - Contract to Permanent Position

Interviews volunteers to determine aptitude and abilities. Checks references and selects those suitable for assigned programs.

Demonstrated knowledge of performance outcome measurement tools and techniques and program evaluation.

Provides input into the development of the volunteer program for the SAHI.

Develops service descriptions, standards and procedures specific to volunteer resources for SAHI.

Provides orientation and training for volunteers in conjunction with staff members in the assigned areas.

Prepares written and verbal evaluations of volunteers. Conducts volunteer performance evaluations, provides support, direction and discipline, when necessary.

Team Education: Effectively develop rapport and communicate with groups to inspire learning

Previous experience supervising a team of camp counsellors.

Plan and implement processes for hiring all camp staff.
