It's an exciting time to be at Servus! Our wealth department is looking for ambitious students to support the team during the busy summer season! This would be a great opportunity for those that wish to explore a role within a financial institution. In this role, you will get exposure to our Wealth leadership teams, internal and external partners, and will be working closely on the administrative aspect of wealth at Servus!

The Wealth Associate is accountable for the accurate administration and processing of mutual funds for Licensed Financial Advisors, Financial Planners and Senior Wealth Advisors, working on the Credential Asset Management Platform, or the Credential QTrade Securities Inc platform.
A professional and positive attitude is required with a focus on workflow, accuracy and delivering high quality, knowledgeable service to our internal and external partners. You strive for excellence in organization, communication, and teamwork as you play an important role in enhancing the Member Experience.
More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Team focused with a willingness to assist others and contribute to corporate and team goals by offering ideas and suggestions
• Process mutual fund PACs EFTs, Beneficiary Updates, Sales Representative changes
• Provide high quality service through an efficient, accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks
• Review and check multiple sources of relevant information for accuracy before accepting it
• Demonstrate solid ability and knowledge, and apply software and information technology with minimal guidance
• Support and participate in initiatives and department activities
• Process Regular group RRSP contributions
• Contribute to and support positive working relationships with internal and external partners

Regular contact is required with departmental deadership teams, other Servus managers and employees. The most important decisions of this position relate to establishing priorities and handling a variety of tasks that require initiative and judgement while maintaining confidentiality where warranted.
Requirements

• Experience in the financial industry (financial planning, banking etc.) is preferred
• Awareness of the Canadian Credit Union System is highly desirable

Education and Training:

• High School graduate supplemented with post-secondary education in an office careers program.

The business may from time to time ask for branch and/or department support for special projects and/or areas experiencing staff shortages. All employees may be asked to volunteer to assist in areas of need during these times. These assignments could result in a change of hours, location, and/or travel.
