Role Description And Expectations
Klick is looking to add a talented Videographer/Video Editor to our growing family of creative craftspeople. We’re looking for someone with a diverse skill set who can lead or be part of a film crew of all sizes. Equally important to the role are expert video editing skills and artistic and creative sensibilities that meet the high standards of our industry-leading creative team.
As part of the Production Team you’ll apply your skill and passion for storytelling to a wide variety of content. This includes everything from online ads, tv commercials, sizzle reels, pitch and concept work, boardomatics, interviews, short film or documentary-style stories and testimonials, event coverage, educational content, award submissions, virtual presentations, and much more. Needless to say, we’re looking for someone versatile and open-minded. Projects will require varying degrees of ownership so we’re looking for someone who is both a self-starter but also takes direction well and collaborates effectively on a team.
This role will require some international travel as well as working in Klick’s video production studio and facilities in Toronto. You’ll be joining a top-notch production team that is fun, dynamic, and full of passion for our craft. We have genuine chemistry, which makes both collaborative work and social events a blast.

Key Accountabilities
Advanced knowledge and understanding of video production process including:

• Audio recording
• Post finishing
• Directing
• Cinematography
• Camera operation
• Lighting
• Video editing
• Motion Graphics

Required Qualifications
Soft Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills Dynamic storytelling & presentation abilities, able to confidently present your workSolid interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including clients and agency leadership Strong collaborator who thrives working in a team environment Must be receptive to feedback and taking direction

Hard Skills

• Specific proficiencies:Intermediate motion graphics (Adobe After Effects)Expert editing (Adobe Premiere Pro)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma, or equivalent work experience in a related field, is an asset

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
