Working with one of the top clients this role calls for an UX Designer- Banking who will be responsible to research new methodologies and assign sections and development of information architecture, navigational models, visual and interaction designs for the user interface of digital properties and interactive applications. This candidate must have a growth mindset and be open to learning opportunities while being detail oriented, organized and creative.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for our business area
• Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
• Collaborate with marketing staff to ensure efforts result in creative work that is reflective of the Bank's (and UGO's) branding and market positioning strategies
• Create fresh and new designs that delight the end customer and bring these to life in collaboration with business and technology
• Interprets internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommends a course of action and best practices to improve products, processes or services
• Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for own area of expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
• Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, aligns with internal and external requirements, and business priorities
• Integrates knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations
• Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; raise issues where appropriate
• Bring the Bank's digital interface design standards, usability guidelines, accessibility guidelines and development methodologies to life
• Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques

Desired Skillset:

• Confluence and Jira
• Expertise in using software tools, applications, and business/project methodologies - i.e. Figma, Agile methodology
• Understands design trends and systems
• Previous UX as well as graphic work experience
• Adobe experience
• Build prototypes and design

Nice to have:

• Previous start up experience
• Previous banking experience
