Job Title

Underwriting Associate

• Providing solutions and support for large and complex underwriting risk evaluation processes in a given line of business.
• Advising on the monitoring of loss experience and business conditions of key accounts as well as loss trends and any relevant legal or economic factors affecting a given line of business.
• Implementing an up-to-date system to maintain and document regulatory requirements, industry best practices, trends and business requirements.
• Mentoring and guiding less experienced underwriters in handling underwriting issues; developing and delivering corresponding training according to departmental needs.

Job Summary

Provides expertise and guidance for the development and enforcement of organizational underwriting guidelines, policies and processes. Applies basic theories, skills, and practices to accomplish assignments.
