FEIART Creative Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract UI/UX Designer/Project Leader for a significant software project. The successful candidate will possess exceptional design skills, project leadership experience, and a deep understanding of creating intuitive, user-centric applications. This is a temporary, project-based position where you will work closely with our Project Manager and guide a team of designers through the design phase of the project. You'll ensure that our vision is realized through captivating and functional design and that our standards for excellence are upheld throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead UI/UX design for our software project from concept through final implementation.
• Develop comprehensive UI/UX design strategies that address our project needs and end-user requirements.
• Manage project deliverables and timelines, ensuring that all design work is completed on schedule.
• Direct and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, encouraging creativity and problem-solving.
• Maintain design consistency and coherence across all elements of the project.
• Collaborate closely with our Project Manager and internal team to ensure alignment on design vision and execution.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, and Illustrator.
• Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.
• Proven experience leading design projects and managing a design team.
• A deep understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
• The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Extensive experience in a senior UI/UX design role, evidenced by a strong portfolio.

Job Type: Fixed-term contract

Contract length: 8-12 weeks

Salary: $45.00-$65.00 per hour
