We are looking for a UI Developer with 5+ years hands on development experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a UI Developer with the Versa Networks Director and/or Concerto Team, you will:

• Be allocated a domain specific feature to implement. You will need to connect with the feature owners and understand the requirement and get references to right files.
• Implement the feature unit, test it thoroughly and make sure all the CRUD operations are working. You will raise a merge request, share it with the team and make needed amendments to the code. You can also give review comments to others request.
• Work on bugs raised by QA, and have to work on any bugs allocated to you. This will help in understanding how the system works
• Proactively to find UI bugs or provide enhancements to the UI code to get better performance.

Job Requirements

• Experience on test driven development (TDD).
• Good Exposure in using libraries like Redux, Typescript and packaging tools like Webpack. Knowledge about Npm registry and publishing for code sharing.
• Data visualizations using Am charts, Canvas or SVG, High chart, D3.js etc.
• Experience building reusable JS components that are modular, performant and maintainable.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git ,GitLab.
• Hands on experience on working with front-end/CSS frameworks such as Semantic UI, Foundation or Bootstrap.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Actively working on React projects will be plus point. Should have exposure to both Class based as well as functional.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in full-featured JavaScript application framework such as React, Angular or Backbone.
• 5+ Years of development experience in HTML/HTML5, CSS Pre-processors(SASS/LESS), JavaScript( ES2015,ES6,ES7) along with Object Oriented JavaScript.

Bonus points

• Awareness of Networking terminology.
• Basic knowledge for Core Java and Spring Framework, Dockers containerization.
• Have understanding in resolving Web Security Issues.
• Familiar with using Jenkins and Selenium based test tools.
