About This Team
Our team creates industry leading, high quality, eco-friendly performance materials in collaboration with Sourcing & Supplier Partners. We transform design concepts into reality, research new technologies/solutions, and develop fabrics, trims, colour & prints that surprise and delight our guest while meeting quality and compliance standards. This role will focus on trim development for our On the Move (lifestyle) and Collabs/Special projects groups.
a day in the life

• Develop and commercialize a toolbox of trims that meet the determined technical & quality standards while ensuring alignment to the global sourcing strategy
• Provide creative trim solutions to enhance guest experience
• Support the company’s sustainability initiatives.
• Provide technical support for designers and product teams on trim construction and on the technical capability of vendors to deliver the products required.
• Build relationship and rapport with vendors to understand and leverage their capabilities

Qualifications

• Traveled to and worked on site with manufacturers around the world Strong knowledge of supply chain operations
• Strong knowledge of development techniques, (process/equipment etc.) for fabrics and trims as well as product development process and timelines.
• Strong understanding of trim components, attachment methods and performance standards on various apparel products
• 5+ years of apparel industry experience working in textiles and/or trims
• Team player, knowledge of cross-functional team accountabilities and requirements
