Primary Responsibilities


In the role of Transportation EIT, we'll count on you to:


  • Work as a key member of transportation design assignments with other project engineers on urban and rural roadway/Highway projects
  • Assist in the management and coordination of larger projects or manage task orders within retainer contracts, including preparing and tracking scopes, budgets and schedules
  • Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Manage the following work elements: day-to-day communication (verbal and written) with the client, support and advise junior engineers and technical staff, write reports and technical memos for internal and external purposes, coordinate with subconsultants, carry out or support client presentations, and keep client satisfied
  • Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction estimates


Required Qualifications


  • Able to develop designs using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other transportation design software packages, MS Office experience
  • EIT with ability to obtain P.Eng. within 12 months.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Bachelor's degree


Preferred Qualifications


  • P.Eng. and/or Master's degree preferred
