CURRENT LOCATION: Midtown Toronto (849 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto, ON M4G 2L5)

• FUTURE LOCATION: Etobicoke (Queensway) new, state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz dealership opening in 2023, as an Experience Destination with cutting-edge architecture with advanced technologies to create an environment in which the consumer leads every interaction. The 95,900-square-foot facility will occupy a 6-acre site at the southeast corner of The Queensway and The East Mall.

About The Opportunity…
As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities of the service repair department. Specifically:

• Establish and verify priorities for all returns to the shop, to ensure that they are given immediate and appropriate attention
• Regulate the flow of vehicle maintenance/repair/service work through the department to ensure timely completion
• Maintain shop capacity, efficiency, and productivity
• Assign work to Automotive Service Technicians based on availability and skill set
• Champion the job distribution, work mix, et cetera, and advise the Service Manager of absences for the purpose of vehicle road testing or other functions
• Prioritize and dispatch vehicle maintenance work for the shop
• Schedule shop work to ensure efficiency

About You…
Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience working in the service department, including:

• A proven commitment to quality of work
• A desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
• Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
• Proficiency in working with ERP systems (i.e.. CDK/Reynolds)
• Ability to maintain professionalism
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
• Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
• Strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
• 1 to 3 years of proven experience in an automotive maintenance facility
• Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
