Responsibilities include:

• Interpret load charts including understanding the correct meaning of all notes and warnings and being able to calculate or determine the crane’s actual net capacity for every possible configuration of the machine.
• Assembling, setting up and rigging the crane properly with booms, extensions, and hook blocks
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance as required.
• Execute lifts from routine to highly complex and extra-heavy lifts.
• Perform pre-operational inspection and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
• Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes.
• Uphold HSE regulations and be aware of any site conditions that could affect the safe operation of the crane.
• Operate mobile including All Terrains, Crawler Cranes, truck mount cranes and RT’s cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials.
• Complete and maintain accurate hours of service records, safety reports, and other work done on the crane while in the field.

Qualifications:

• Dedicated work ethic
• Must be a member in good standing with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 987
• Ability to travel when required.
• Experience with crane and heavy machinery operation
• Ability to interpret load charts.
• Class 1 Driver’s License
• Red Seal Certification
• Ability to work well with others.
• Experience in crane rental (Taxi Work) would be an asset.
• Crawler Crane experience including mobilization/demobilization.
• All Terrain experience.
• Strong communication skills

Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time, Casual

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekend Availability, Day Shift, Evening Shift.

Pay rate or range: $42.53-$47.93 per hour??

Benefits: As per collective agreement
