• High-Level Description

This position will provide functional solution expertise in the AP/AR/CM Oracle cloud modules within the TIS operations team. This is a key role to support the Oracle enterprise solution that includes daily operational support and identifying solutions that meet the business requirements. Candidate should possess a background in finance with Oracle functional expertise within the AP & AR & CM Oracle Cloud modules. This role will work closely with the business, TIS AMS partners, and TIS Operations teams to deliver solutions and provide operational excellence.
Specific Accountabilities

• Ability to Work effectively with business partners and System integrator & ensure quality assurance on key deliverables
• Provide technical assistance to the business in the use of information and data from various source systems.
• Analyze and problem solves system issues in respective application portfolio to determine the best course of action.
• Participate in quality assurance testing ensuring defined user requirements are met; translate business requirements and use cases into test plans and test scenarios.
• Ability to work closely with cross functional team & other technology disciplines across integration, data, security, application and reporting.
• AP : deep knowledge of SLA and invoice/payment process
• Facilitate business change in support of solution design and implementation. Document systems and their interdependencies in the form of system specifications.
• Review cross-functional business processes, identify fit gaps and propose remediation, and assess interdependencies with integrations and cross module impacts
• Manage daily operational incidents and break fix issues
• Ability to provide system operation support for AP & AR & CM in Complex Asset Intensive Oil & Gas environment with demonstrated functional depth in the following areas:
• AR and Cash Management including bank setup, lockbox and receipts.
• Maintain business process documentation and identify areas for process improvement opportunities.
• Review requirements and design specifications to ensure fit for purpose
• Engage Business SMEs to gather and derive business and systems requirements and translate them into functional - technical specifications.
• Ability to support continuous improvements in the area of AP & AR & CM through identifying areas and ideas for improvement and carrying out continuous system improvement initiatives.
• Assist the business in System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Highly developed organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete work within defined timeframes in a fast paced program environment
• Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in the following contexts: multi-disciplinary project meetings, technical reviews with developers and SME’s, leading group training sessions
• Knowledge of relevant domain processes in Operations (Asset Information, Risk and Review and Lifecycle Development, operational excellence and managing an AMS - Application maintenance service partner
• Ability to interpret process flow charts to understand what data is captured and how it travels between various applications and hardware components
• Understanding of Oracle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cash management accounting and business process such SLA, invoice payment process and bank setups etc.
• Strong experience Implementing or Supporting Oracle modules such Oracle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cash management, Subledger Accounting and it’s integration to other Oracle ERP Modules
• 7+ yrs. experience as an Oracle Functional Analyst, Project Lead, Business/Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Understanding of accounting treatment of capital related items under Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP and regulatory filings such as FERC and NEB
