Technical Architect Jobs

The Technical Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with the organization’s overall architecture and strategic vision. The Technical Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design solutions, and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. The Technical Architect will also play a key role in ensuring that technology solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance as needed;
• Ensuring that technology solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable; and
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that align with the organization’s overall architecture and strategic vision;
• Designing and implementing technology solutions that meet the needs of the organization’s clients;
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and recommending changes to the organization’s architecture and technology stack as needed.
• Providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment;
• Conducting code reviews to ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed;

Minimum Relevant Experience:

• Seven (7) years of relevant work experience with a minimum of three (3) years designing and implementing technology solutions.

Minimum Required Skills:

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong experience in at least one (1) JavaScript framework, such as Alpine, HTMX, or Node.js;
• Proficient in SQL Server and NoSQL databases;
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Azure and AWS;
• Experience with Spring Framework 4+/SpringBoot 2+;
• Strong experience in at least one (1) front-end technology, such as Vue, Svelte, or React;
• Experience with agile development methodologies; and

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with API design and management, such as Swagger or Apigee;
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins, Git, and Terraform;
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman;
• Understanding of WCB or other insurance domains.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau;
• Experience with security and compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27001 or PCI DSS; and

In addition to the technical skills required for the role, the Technical Architect should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as the Technical Architect will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology solutions are designed to meet business requirements. The Technical Architect will also need to be able to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and be able to communicate complex technical concepts in an easily understandable way.
