Team Lead Jobs

In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, (Island Health) patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at Island Health; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Reporting to the Manager, the Team Lead is responsible for planning, organizing and providing day-to-day direction to designated staff assigned to Island Health systems.
Provides expert knowledge and leadership to advise program staff and project teams on the development of the business systems and applications. Supports Island Health strategic objectives by developing and championing the design, building, implementing, and sustaining complex business systems and applications. Through the application of business knowledge, and the analysis of current/future state processes, incorporates business functionality into application design and ensures that the end-product supports users' needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And Experience
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Health Information Sciences with five (5) years' experience is related to application design, build and testing.
