TalentWorld is recruiting a Systems Analyst in Windsor, Ontario for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison to address system issues.
• Monitor system performance and allocate resources.
• Provide functional and technical expertise on corporate and infrastructure systems.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support corporate information systems.
• Provide reports on system performance, compliance, and capacity.
• Lead small to medium projects and coordinate system testing.
• Collaborate with business units and external consultants.
• Maintain applications, infrastructure systems, and security measures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and develop security standards.

Qualifications

• Certification in relevant technologies or project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Data Centre planning, capacity management, and disaster recovery .
• Understanding of Active Directory and mobile device management.
• Experience in technology project management within an information systems and infrastructure environment
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of analysts and programmers.
• Understanding of security standards, change management procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, dimensional data modeling, and operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).
• Proficiency in mobile phones, virtualized computing (vmWare), mobile device management systems, file systems, SAP BASIS, backup systems, and distributed computing support.
• Prior experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders, users, and vendors.
• Advanced knowledge of VmWare, SAP, Northstar, and ESRI .
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
