POSITION SUMMARY:


The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a key role is assisting with the delivery of the Saskatoon


Warehouse fiscal business plan. This position directly relates to the control of the inventory


within the Saskatchewan, Manitoba, N.W. Ontario supply chain. This position supports the


Saskatoon warehouse team by ensuring compliance to established accountability practices


and processes, and facilitates training and understanding of warehouse policies, procedures and


SOP’s. The inventory control Supervisor is a liaison between the warehouse, production, planning


and distribution departments.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Oversee and manage the daily Cycle Count process within the warehouse, and the reconciliation of inventory variances.
  • Monitor and report on product disposals and inventory shrink.
  • Oversee the product Withdrawal/Recall process for the Warehouse.
  • Ensure all Inventory related Audit requirements are met and maintained.
  • Directly Supervise the Warehouse Coordinator
  • Communicate across departments to ensure inventory problems and adjustments are corrected.
  • Oversee investigation and resolution of department Debit Notes and customer credits.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Ensures inventory processes are in compliance with established procedures.
  • Provide departmental productivity/continuous improvement related reporting as required.
  • Work with Route Settlement group in Edmonton and related activities.
  • Oversee daily process for Check Digit changing within the Voice Pick system.
  • Provide inventory related period end and on demand reporting as required.
