Job Description
  • Priority will be given to qualified Athabasca residents
Responsibilities include:
  • Promote and support Operational Excellence and OE Culture
  • Repairables Program inventory adjustments
  • Promote and adhere to Orano Canada’s values: Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Respect and People Development, Cohesion and Team Spirit, and Exemplarity, Integrity, Responsibility
  • Assist in stock procurement and replenishment management
  • Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures
  • Update material master information records as required
  • Be pro-active to the needs of the various user departments and to see that the system is utilized to provide a level of services expected from the user departments
  • Month-end reporting, including fuel reconciliation
  • Supervise the daily work of the Warehouse Staff
  • Properly order all replenishment stock when on an Outline Agreement (Contract)
  • Ensure yellowcake is shipped appropriately
  • Ensure that dangerous goods are handled appropriately
  • Run the MRP stock replenishment program daily in the SAP Inventory system
Work Location & Schedule:
  • McClean Lake
  • Indoor and Outdoor work, in all weather conditions, is required
  • 14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule
  • Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Tuesday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
As a condition of employment the successful candidate must complete Orano’s pre-employment checks including education verification and employment reference checks.
Drug (including marijuana) and alcohol substance testing is a requirement for all Safety Sensitive positions. Applicants who have recently used marijuana recreationally may not pass a substance test as marijuana can remain in the user’s system for as many as 30 days after use.

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
  • Solid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
  • Able to maintain accurate records and reports
  • SAP experience is a requirement
  • Able to interact and develop effective working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and leads by example
  • 10+ years’ experience in warehousing at a senior level in an industrial setting
  • Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN). Athabasca residents will be given priority
  • Able to adjust to the cyclical nature of milling in regards to material requirements
  • Adapts and supports change positively and takes initiative
