This position is responsible for overseeing implementation of Gas Station Merchandising programs. Responsible for sales, displaying, ordering, and inventory control within the department. While providing world class customer service by ensuring all customer requests are fulfilled

Here’s Where You’ll Be Focusing

• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
• Sell merchandise to customers
• Refill pump-side containers of washer fluid
• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff
• Replace stock of cigarettes, candy, oil and windshield washer as needed
• Open ground level fuel covers and inspects seals, locks etc.
• Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
• Operate electronically scanning cash register to total customers final bill
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• Provide World Class customer service
• Supervise and co-ordinate staff

Education/ Experience

• Some Post secondary education preferred
• Experience preferred, but not required
• Training provided
