Covia is looking for a Summer Student-Staff who will have a positive impact on the Nepheline Syenite Operation located at the Blue Mountain facility.
The Summer Student-Staff Is Responsible To Following
The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:
  • Perform all other duties as needed or assigned
  • Input and catalog information for the company IFS system.
  • Administrative support for various departments including: Safety, training, engineering, quality, maintenance, customer service and shipping office etc.
  • Adhere to site procedures and instructions given by supervisors
  • Possess the ability to learn, understand and follow all Health & Safety policies/procedures
The Successful Incumbent Will Have The Following Minimum Qualifications
  • Prior experience with word processing software
  • Must possess general computing skills, basic troubleshooting methodology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • All other work as assigned
  • Applicants must be enrolled and scheduled to attend College or University.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/SharePoint applications and the ability to learn new programs
  • Availability to work shift work and weekends
  • Demonstrate sound judgment; meet work commitments; demonstrate effective work habits and attitudes
