Our company provides educational advice, university admission, and visa services to study in Canada to Latin American students.

We are looking for aStudent Support Specialistto assist our clients in Portuguese and English in a fast-paced environment. You will be an important part of our team responsible for submitting student applications to universities/colleges, language schools, assisting students with their inquiries, and assisting student advisors with clerical tasks.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Support the educational advisors and management team with daily clerical tasks including invoices, quotes, proposals, document reviews, and filling out forms.
  • Provide a supportive and welcoming atmosphere to clients, guests, and provide them with the appropriate information and support.
  • Assist clients’ inquiries in person, by phone and electronically.
  • Prepare, review, and submit student applications to our partner schools, and follow up to help our students successfully gain admission.
  • Place purchase orders for translations, medical insurance, shipments, and others.

Qualifications/requirements

  • Have strong skills in the use of internet and WEB-based applications, email platforms and digital files.
  • Organized and detailed oriented.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel is a must.
  • Customer oriented and people skills.
  • A 2-year diploma in business, administration or related education.
  • A minimum of a 2-year work experience in administrative roles in the educational sector is desired, but not mandatory
  • Team player who loves working in a dynamic team, and at the same time is independent and self-motivated to work with minimal supervision.
  • Languages required: English and Portuguese, Spanish is an asset.
  • Be able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

More information:

  • Hours per week: 37.5 to 40
  • Work location only a few steps away from a Skytrain Location convenient for applicants living in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster or Tri-Cities.
  • Work hours flexibility may be required (weekdays and weekends) for some special projects or events.

Salary based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
