Position Overview:

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in the design and analysis of various projects, ensuring their structural integrity and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:

- Conduct structural analysis and design for residential, agricultural, and light commercial projects

- Prepare comprehensive engineering plans, calculations, and specifications

- Perform site visits and assessments to evaluate structural conditions and provide recommendations

- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project coordination

- Review and analyze project proposals, identifying potential risks and offering mitigation strategies

- Stay updated with current engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

- Maintain accurate project documentation and records

Qualifications:

- Must be a registered engineer in the province of Manitoba

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field

- Proven experience in structural analysis and design, preferably in residential, agricultural, or light commercial projects

- Some proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools

- Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with team members and clients

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently
