Sr. Java/.Net Developer (W/ Angular)

Position: Sr. Java/.NET Developer (w/ Angular)

Location: Downtown Toronto Office (remote first)

In this role we are looking for someone who has been hands-on with BOTH Java & .NET development as a software engineer. You will have the opportunity to contribute your technical expertise alongside a team of software specialists.

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute to data and code integrity through unit and integration testing
• Deliver strong technical design and programming skills throughout .NET & Java Fullstack (Angular)
• Communicate technical problems to peers, architects and project managers while recommending creative solutions
• Develop, maintain, and integrate coding for various client software systems and applications

Your Preferred Profile:

• Prior experience designing and implementing multi-threaded and multi-process large scale systems
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture as well as Cloud systems (AWS preference)
• Strong knowledge of all tiers used in modern architecture (front-end, mid-tier, RESTful web services, messaging, data tier)
• Technical team leadership skills, including the ability to assume responsibility for delivering the project, and to keep a small team of developers occupied and efficient
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a thorough understanding of CS fundamentals and theory relevant to application development
• Experience with databases and implementing (PL/SQL) scripts and stored procedures - Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL experience is considered an asset
• Hands-on experience with client-server architecture as well as Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns
• 8+ years Hands-on experience with Java & .NET technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS
