Job Description

Position Title: Junior Java Developer


Location: Tronto,ON

Position Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2-5 Years



About Pragra

Pragra is a dynamic and fast-growing consulting company, We seeking for Junior Java Developer to join our team. We aim to optimize the customer experience and drive business growth by leveraging data and advanced analytics. A successful candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing key e-commerce and subscription metrics, conducting A/B tests, data modeling, and machine learning. Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, and Google Analytics is a must.







In this role, you will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. In addition, troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.


Experience:


  • Experience with network protocols such as HTTP, TLS, TCP
  • Solid experience with multi-threaded programming
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture
  • Experience with continuous integration systems
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and their benefit
  • Experience with dependency injection and mocking techniques
  • Experience with web services technology such as REST, JSON etc.
  • 0-2 years of experience working with distributed software at scale
  • Solid experience with agile development methodologies
