We’re looking for a fast pace, experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer based in Vancouver, who is interested in helping us build a cutting edge consumer facing tele-health platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, communicate, drive and enforce quality best practices in the organization
• Review product requirements and UX designs and provide input for testing and participate in Scrum activities
• Adopt and develop testing tools and frameworks used for product validation
• Be an active participant in architecture and design reviews
• Lead testing activities for sprint and regression execution in functional, integration and system tests
• Estimate, strategize and plan test execution for sprints according to functional and design specifications and product manager’s inputs
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to define testing strategies for new and existing products and services of PlushCare’s platform

Qualifications

• Understanding with CircleCI, Jenkins (or other CI build systems)
• Scripting knowledge – JavaScript, bash, Python, SQL etc (+1year)
• Experience validating large, complex systems with larger user base and ability to break down complex systems into small, testable components (3+ years)
• Familiarity with an object-oriented programming language like Python, C# or Java
• Strong team player in a flat-structured, highly-collaborative, agile environment is a must
• Experience with APIs and backend testing (+2years)
• Experience in estimation, planning and execution of testing activities with modern test management tools such as TestRail, Xray etc.
• Excellent issue isolation, troubleshooting, and debugging skills

• Experience in the e-commerce or telemedicine space
• Marketing analytics testing
• Experience with HIPAA compliance
