Our Guest Services team works to provide a positive guest experience from reservation to check-out. As a Guest Services Supervisor, your contribution helps ensure guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.


What will I be doing?


Responsibilities


Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards


As a Guest Services Supervisor, you would be responsible for assisting the Rooms Manager while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. You are also responsible for ensuring that consistent high quality customer service is delivered by the Guest Services Team.


  • Verify credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Handle cash, make change and post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours of operation, and the local area in a timely manner.
  • Be aware of all rates, packages, and promotions currently underway; all closed out and restricted dates; and all in-house groups.
  • Ensure a guest focused and accurate reservation, welcome, check-in and checkout process using property computer systems and following standard operating procedures.
  • Handle guests concerns with tact, and seek assistance as needed
  • Assist the Rooms Manager in communicating information and providing training to ensure all associates are following, achieving, and maintaining department and hotels standards.
  • Monitor all VIP and special guest requests and ensure response in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Regularly scheduled as the manager on duty; must maintain the knowledge and training to respond to issues across departments and emergencies as they arise.
