Responsibilities


What will you be doing?


The Software Engineer II will play a pivotal role in software development activities and long-term initiative planning and collaboration across the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization. Software Engineering is the corner stone of scalable digital transformation across PepsiCo’s value chain. This candidate will support the end-to-end software development experience and deliver high quality software as part of the DevOps process.


The role will be part of our software development team to ensure we deliver the best possible software solutions and ensure they are generating value through cost savings or incremental value. This candidate will work closely with the user experience, product, IT, and process engineering teams to develop new products and prioritize deliver solutions across S&T core priorities.


Key-activities:


  • Support software development strategy utilizing industry standards. Create roadmap and timing of implementation of the roadmap based on business requirements and strategy.
  • Support the vision and guide a team of engineers to build and support digital products & solutions (DPS) across S&T core priorities
  • Partner with User Experience, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics, Emerging Tech, Innovation, and Process Engineering teams to deliver the Digital Products portfolio
  • Support expanding DPS capabilities through a customer obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform that leverages data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences
  • Interact with key business partners to recommend solutions that best meet the strategic needs of the business.
  • Help problem solve delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the engineering initiatives to the stakeholders


Qualifications


Who are we looking for?


  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

The AZ Delivery Driver is critical to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada as you will be delivering our loved & in demand products directly to high volume customers, including convenience and gas, supermarkets and drug stores.

Responsibilities


What you’ll be working on:


  • Deliver product using a Bulk, Side Bay or PTG Truck
  • Provide accurate and timely product deliveries to scheduled customers, unloading product to the assigned area as directed by the customer
  • Any and all other duties as requested by the Delivery Supervisor
  • Operating a AZ Vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
  • Perform all assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner, while in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations
  • Complete all necessary paperwork fully and accurately
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account, acting as a PepsiCo representative


Qualifications


Who’s a good fit for the team:


  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Must have a valid Class 1/ AZ Driver’s License in good standing with a safe driving record
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and overtime as required is preferred
  • Ability to use a dolly and/ or power jack to deliver product to customers
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift, push and pull 100 lbs+ in a safe manner
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Previous Class 1/ AZ driving experience is an asset
